About me: David Stapp was first introduced to filmmaking in the seventh grade, where he picked up a camera for the first time, and began filming skate videos with his friends. Ever since, he has been pursuing a career in the film industry, with most of his knowledge and experience deriving from self taught methods. David went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he graduated with a degree in Media Studies. During his four years at the university, he actively participated in many student short films, as well as Campus Moviefest, a national film festival for students. He first participated in the festival his sophomore year with the film Life After Death, which won the award for Campus Best Drama, and was nominated for Best Director. He also participated a second time during his senior year with the film Relapse, which won the award for Campus Best Picture. Today, David serves as the Chief Editor for B&G Studios, where he continues to practice his craft of editing and directing.
